GoalRecorder is an exciting new start-up I'm working with. They needed a video to explain what their product is and I wanted to come up with an interesting and cost-effective way to get that done for them. 

 

I found some great software called Sparkol Videoscribe (http://www.sparkol.com) that simulates the classic "RSA Animate" whiteboard effect that is so popular these days. There was a bit of a learning curve on how to properly input my own animations into the program, but I finally figured it out. First I sketched out the storyboard for them, then created digital path versions of the drawings. Then I exported it as a video and added my own little animations and adjustments in Final Cut Pro X. The audio was simple--recorded it on a Shure SM7B through an Apogee Duet 2 into Garageband and threw in a stock track.
